This series examines the metaphysical bonds of twin guardians within their ancestral home, utilizing both Polaroid and 35mm film to create temporal complexity. Set within the decaying grandeur of their ancestral home, the interweaving of instant and traditional film processes creates a temporal dissonance that mirrors the sisters' existence – suspended between the present moment and timeless duty, between physical presence and spectral absence. Victorian gothic elements merge with contemporary storytelling as matching black garments and architectural details frame the narrative. Crystal chandelier fragments serve as both literal and metaphorical prisms, fracturing light and identity, while the weathered brick walls and ornate architectural elements frame the sisters as both inhabitants and prisoners of their ancestral legacy.

The series orchestrates a technical dialogue between Kodak Gold 200 and Polaroid 600 film, each medium contributing distinct temporal qualities to the narrative. Gold 200's warm color palette captures the rich patina of aged brick and the subtle gradations of light filtering through antique stained glass, while maintaining shadow detail in the darker Victorian gothic wardrobe elements. The Polaroid 600 film, with its immediate development and characteristic color shifts, creates temporal punctuation points throughout the series – its slight chemical imperfections and unique rendering of shadows adding to the spectral quality of the images. Crystal chandelier elements are intentionally positioned to catch and scatter light across both film formats, with the 35mm frames capturing their prismatic effects in sharp detail while the Polaroids transform these same elements into softer, more ethereal light sources.
